Are sorbets better for you than ice cream?

Sorbets are lower in fat than ice cream, as they are made with fruit puree and do not contain dairy. Sorbets are a good source of vitamin C, and can be a refreshing, light, and delicious dessert. However, while they may be lower in fat than ice cream, they can still be high in sugar, so it’s important to practice moderation when consuming them. Eating sorbet in moderation can provide you with a boost of energy, as it contains carbohydrates and natural sugars, as well as some protein and calcium. Additionally, sorbet can be a great way to add flavor to a meal or snack, and can help to satisfy cravings, which can help you to stay on track with your diet.

At SolDias, we make a variety of sorbets using fresh, all-natural ingredients and zero additives. Customer favorites include macho mango, vallarta - cucumber lime (in the picture), playa de fresa - strawberry, guava and fuego - mango with chili.
