Canela Ice Cream Taco

Here we feature a made from scratch cinnamon ice cream taco.

We begin with canela sticks boiled in water with cinnamon powder and sugar. We try to extract as much flavor from the sticks by blending them and then re-boiling.

We then add our ice cream mix to our cinnamon syrup and blend.

Once blended, we throw in the ice cream machine and wait.

As it is coming out of the machine we add cinnamon powder to add the finishing touch and serve.

We use a taco-shaped waffle container which adds an additional touch of Mexico.
